Dr. Patricia Chien has been providing orthodontic care for over 25 years. After treating thousands of various orthodontic needs of children, adults, and seniors, she still finds it rewarding and exciting to be a part of each person's smile transformation. She delivers quality treatment and her philosophy is treating patients with the utmost care. Dr. Chien received her dental license at UCLA School of Dentistry in Los Angeles, California. Thereafter, she received her postgraduate certificate at Indiana University in Orthodontics and a Master of Science degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Dr. Chien's passion is creating beautiful and happy smiles for every individual. She cherishes her relationship with every patient. Dr. Chien and her team look forward to serving you and welcoming you to the family!
Maria Eduarda Assad Duarte

Dr. Maria Eduarda Duarte, inspired by her physician father and nurse mother, always aimed to make a difference in healthcare. Her experience with orthodontic treatment in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, ignited her passion for dentistry, particularly in helping underserved communities through social work. She graduated in Dental School with honors from the Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro and completed a fellowship in Integrated Esthetics. After earning her Orthodontics degree in 2016 and a Master’s degree, she pursued further training in the U.S. at Boston University orthodontics residency program, where her thesis won the Oral Presentation Award in 2022. In her personal life, Dr. Duarte enjoys outdoor sports, especially soccer (as a true Brazilian). She enjoys playing the guitar, and spending quality time with her husband, their twin boys and their lovely dog.
