Comfort Dental - Arvada

Dr. Tayde lives in Boulder, CO with her husband and 2 boys. She has been practicing dentistry in Arvada since 2006. Dr. Tayde received her dental training from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, followed by a general practice residency at Denver Health Medical Center.  She is also a fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Tayde enjoys volunteering and providing dental services to underserved and disadvantaged communities. In addition to dentistry, she enjoys painting. She feels that dentistry and painting go hand in hand, both requiring dexterity and artistic talent. Dentistry gives her immense excitement and painting gives her pure meditative pleasure. Her other hobbies: hiking, reading, singing and dancing provide balance in her life outside of dentistry. She enjoys having a good laugh with her staff and patients, and is very grateful to her patients for giving her the opportunity to take care of their dental needs.

Dr. Mayo graduated form the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in Chicago and completed a general practice hospital residency with Northwestern University. After practicing in the Chicago area for 6 years he followed the lure of the mountains and moved to Colorado, where he joined Comfort Dental in 2005. He is happily married and has two children and a loveable Boxer named Lulu. Dr. Mayo loves being active, from skiing to running, cycling and mountain biking. His accomplishments include two Ironman distance triathlons and he is a two-time finisher at the Leadville 100 mountain bike race. Moab, Utah is his happy place. Dr. Mayo and his family are also very active with his church.

Dr. Rick Hill is a highly skilled periodontist who recently joined our Comfort Dental Arvada location. After earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo, graduating summa cum laude, Dr. Hill went on to serve as an active-duty officer in the U.S. Army. During his service, he completed a specialty certificate in periodontics and a master’s degree in oral biology from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. Board-certified in periodontology and dental implant surgery, Dr. Hill is proficient in a wide range of periodontal treatments, including managing advanced periodontal disease, dental implant placement, hard and soft tissue grafting, sinus lift procedures, laser periodontal therapy, and sedation dentistry. Dr. Hill’s dedication to excellence and compassionate care make him a trusted partner in your oral health journey. If you’ve ever felt nervous about the dentist, Dr. Mariia is here to change your mind! She joined Comfort Dental of Arvada with one goal: to make high-quality dental care feel approachable, comfortable, and even a little bit fun. While earning her Doctorate from the University of Colorado, Dr. Mariia was selected for the USAF Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP). She served as a USAF dentist for 7 years and completed a residency at Nellis AFB, where she became proficient in more complex dental procedures. She has spent the years following her residency perfecting a "patient-first" approach. Whether you’re here for a routine cleaning or a complete smile makeover, Dr. Mariia uses the latest techniques to ensure you stay comfortable from start to finish. Dr. Mariia has built a reputation for meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to restorative health. She also loves helping anxious patients feel calm and confident in the chair. Outside the clinic, she enjoys traveling, hiking local trails and trying recipies from around the world.
