Community Involvement
Comfort Dental was built on the idea that everyone deserves access to quality, affordable dental care — and that mission doesn't stop at the office door.
Every year, our teams across the country donate their time, skills, and resources to the communities we serve, from a single day of free dental care to ongoing partnerships with local nonprofits. We do it because it supports our mission of quality care for everyone — and because it's simply the right thing to do.
Care Day
Since 1984, Comfort Dental offices nationwide have opened their doors on the eve of Christmas Eve to offer completely free dental care — no insurance, no appointment, no cost. From cleanings to extractions, over 300 dentists and 1,300 team members donate their time each year, together providing more than $22.8 million in free care since Care Day began.
It's first-come, first-served, and it happens at nearly every Comfort Dental location.

In the community
Quality Start
When a Rockies pitcher makes a quality start during the season — 6+ innings with no more than 3 earned runs — we make a $250 donation to ACE Scholarships, so a local kid can get a quality start of their own. Comfort Dental is the official dental sponsor of the Colorado Rockies.
Water Conservation
Dental offices use a lot of water — so we're doing something about it. Many Comfort Dental franchisees have switched to RAMVAC, a dry dental air pump system that uses about 50% less water than traditional wet pump setups. That switch has helped our franchisees save an estimated 7 million gallons of water in a single year — and roughly 34 million gallons over the last five. As Dr. Neil Norton puts it: with water becoming a more precious resource, it's a smart investment in our community's future.
