The Price Difference Is Real. Dr. Blasko Has Seen the Receipts.

Your Littleton Dentist Has Seen the Other Guys' Bills

If you've ever wondered whether the price you're paying at your current dentist is fair, Dr. Jackie Blasko of Comfort Dental in Littleton has a perspective worth hearing. Over the years, patients have walked into her office carrying treatment plans from other practices, and what she sees on those pages consistently stops her cold. "I've had patients bring me treatment plans from other offices and it floors me," she says, "how much our local dentists are charging for things we do for a third of the price."

A Third of the Price Is Not a Small Difference

That's not a small margin. A third of the price means that for some procedures, patients could pay dramatically less without sacrificing quality of care. Dr. Blasko has spent her entire career at Comfort Dental, so she knows the fee structure inside and out. When she looks at what competitors are charging, especially for patients who have insurance, the difference is hard to explain. "We accept the same policy and the prices are totally different," she says. "I don't even understand how they upcharge patients who have insurance."

What This Means for Littleton Patients

This matters to Littleton residents for a few reasons. First, dental care is something people already tend to delay, and cost is usually the reason. When the perceived price of treatment is inflated by what other offices are charging, it can keep people from getting care they genuinely need. Second, having insurance doesn't automatically protect you from being overcharged. Patients with coverage are still being billed at rates that, compared to Comfort Dental's fees, can look almost unrecognizable. Dr. Blasko isn't shy about saying that Comfort Dental is the better financial option. She's not making that claim in the abstract. She's seen the comparison side by side, on actual printed treatment plans, brought in by real patients. The Gold Plan, which Comfort Dental offers for patients without insurance, is another piece of this. In her years of practice, no one has ever handed her a competing fee schedule that comes out lower.

Find Out What Dental Care Should Actually Cost

For patients in Littleton who are insured, uninsured, or anywhere in between, the practical takeaway is straightforward. Before you assume you know what dental care costs, it's worth finding out what it costs here. The difference may be significant enough to change how you think about the treatment you've been putting off. Call Comfort Dental Littleton to schedule an appointment and get a treatment plan you can actually compare.
